Dear all,
The Institute of Bioengineering and Nanotechnology (IBN) would like to cordially invite your students and their parents to the 2nd IBN Science Camp for Parents and Students on Saturday, December 5, from 9:00am to 1:00pm at the Biopolis.
This Science camp aims to introduce Primary 5 to Secondary 3 students and their parents to scientific research at the interface of bioengineering and nanotechnology, and provide them with insights into career opportunities in the biomedical research industry. An overview of the cutting-edge interdisciplinary research performed at IBN will be presented before participants are led on guided tours of the Institute's laboratories. Participants will also find out more about IBN’s research through hands-on lab sessions conducted by our researchers. The Science Camp will conclude with a discussion session where our scientists will answer questions from participants as well as a tea reception.
We would appreciate if you could disseminate this information to your students and their parents. Kindly confirm your interest and secure your participation at this event by submitting the registration form to yrp@ibn.a-star.edu.sg or fax to 6478 9081 before Friday, November 27, 2009.
