Contact Time Activities

Every Wednesday from 12.15pm to 1.30pm is the time when Principal interacts and holds meeting with all the teachers from both sessions of the school. During this period, PSG members are mobilized to help supervise the classes so that teachers can meet without interruptions.

PSG members will make use of this period to conduct age-appropriate classroom activities, eg. art and craft, story telling, singing, word games, etc. We cordially invite passionate and creative parents to join this small family to enlighten the children with your talents!

Learning Support Programme

The LSP is an early intervention programme to provide support to primary 1 & 2 pupils who requires extra help in English language. Pupils are identified for LSP through a systematic screening process by qualified teachers. Depending on individual’s schedule, each coaching mum/dad comes in for about half an hour each time to give close attention and guidance to a specific child to cover the following areas:

  • To converse with the child in the specific language and help to build his/her vocabulary
  • To read stories (with picture) to or with the child. Engage child in discussion about the story/picture
  • To revise child’s spellings and dictations while explaining the meaning of the words or paragraphs
  • To play with child language-incorporating games eg. Phonics games, word puzzles, etc.

The current Teacher-in-charge of LSP is Mrs Lam.

LSM is similar to LSP and it’s focus area is in Mathematics.

Publication of P6 Graduation Magazine

P6 magazines

Since 2006, Ai Tong P6 students have something to cherish and bring along their journey – the P6 graduation magazine and souvenir collar pin. These were made possible with the combined efforts of all P6 pupils, parents, school and alumni.

We would like to continue this worthwhile and meaningful project and would appreciate contribution in any form. If you can assist either in resources or have the relevant skills, please contact Ng Bee Bee at beebeeng.ng2@gmail.com.
